VI returns timecodes with hundredths of seconds (i.e. 00:00:07.2400000, so 7 and 24 hundredths of seconds). If we know the video frame-rate (i.e. 24, 23.98), could we derive the specific frame by multiplying the decimal times the frame rate? Or would that not be reliable to convert to HH:MM:SS:FF?1 vote

The insights structure in the videoindex has a version, but there is not information on the changes between the versions.

Using the API we submitted a job and while it was being indexed we deleted the job via the API. We ended up with receiving a mail that the job failed because of invalid video format. However the job is now still listed and it cannot be deleted via the API. The failed job is still displayed in the Webgui and it can also not be deleted there.
Please provide a way to delete such a failed job.1 vote

What the account ID in Video Indexer v2. When i go to the website https://api-portal.videoindexer.ai/ and open page with profile i don`t see accout id. Email, First/Last name, my subbscriptions - yes and anything1 vote

1. Click on the user thumbnail in the top right corner of the portal.
2. Go to Settings → Account tab
3. Copy the Account ID.

2. Create a new support request. Your request will be tracked within SLA.
How long is breakdown data from REST API retained in Video Indexer service and it is there a cost to store this data?
What about thumbnail images generated (available from thumbnailUrl)? How long are they stored/available and are there any cost to have them accessible for long term periods?
PS: I understand that Face API images are available only for 24h after the process generation1 vote

- Data is retained until you delete it (via the website or API)
For Accounts connected to Azure:
- Charges apply to your Azure subscription
- Data is stored in your Azure subscription until you delete it

VI supports only one arabic dialect i.e. ar-eg. VI should also support other arabian dialects like gulf dialect ar-ae. Is there any plan for supporting different arabic dialects?2 votes

I am using Video Indexer. I am having some suggestions below :
• The description of Search API is to be more clear. Currently we don’t understand what it searches and what would be output.
• If the Face API group ID is provided as input, auto update of face names should happen from Face Group ID.
• The sections (people, brand, keywords…) inside Embedded Insight widget could be collapsible Control.3 votes
