Editing Topics
Going through a sample of videos that are being indexed for my company, I've found that incorrect Topics are being attributed to some of them. For example, a video about US elections has India Elections as a topic. It would be great if we were able to edit or remove these topics as we identify them in order to teach the AI how to better assess our content.

Transliteration Option on Video Indexer
We would want to have a transliteration added into the indexer, which allows us to change the language while searching keywords on the landing page.
This would make user experience better.1 vote -
Customer Feedback - Video Indexer Trial
I had a chance to test out the video indexing a bit more and passed it onto somebody who frequently writes up transcripts of interviews. He was able to test it out a bit and, while he was certainly interested in the technology (especially the translation feature given the large number of Spanish speaking interviews that he must translate), he determined that it is still easier to manually transcribe interviews than to go through and correct the mistakes in the indexed video.
The majority of the problems are due to the fact that most people being interviewed by police and/or…

Customized Character detection WITH face detection
Can we use both to object detection?
scenario:
- Contents like Power Ranger
- Face work well to actor
- Custom Vision model work well to Ranger2 votesThank you for reaching out.
Currently, you need to choose between indexing your video with an animation model or face model. Per you use case here, you can try indexing the movie twice, using both methods, and take the relevant insights from the JSON files created for each indexed version.
We will love to hear your feedback. -
The Detection Missed a Face
What can I do if the Video Indexer didn't detect one of the faces of someone who is very present in the video. That despite that I uploaded pictures of that person to train it, that were screenshot from the video I indexed. Could the problem be that the person is wearing glasses and often have a microphone in front of her mouth (but not always).

Clarity about pricing/ subscription packages.
I couldn't figure out the pricing/ subscription packages. There should be clarity on different Packages.
5 votesThank you for your feedback.
You can find information about pricing here- pricing is in https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/media-services/#analytics under “Analytics and Indexing” tab → Video Indexer audio analysis.
Note that when you are indexing, additional Azure charges may be incurred based on your settings such as encoding, storage, content protection, and network/egress. -
transitions in editor
HI,
There should be a way to add transition like simple fade to avoid a sharp cut. This is help to create a seamless video.

editor clipping
Users should be able to manually increase or decrease the segment selected, right now this is strictly done on insights.
Use case- a basketball highlight is picked up by the broadcaster saying the player's name, an insight. If the end user wanted to start the segment a few seconds before the insight, and extend it for a few seconds after, this will be HUGE!

Upload custom text script
I have text script for my video and want the Ai to use it instead of auto detection. Auto transcript isn't 100% accurate

People camera focusing time based on Face API eyes data
People focusing camera is very important on some senario like face-to-face e-learning as meta-data. Face API support detect several eye point and hopefully Video Indexer calcrate summary it like "camera focusing time".

frame accuracy
VI returns timecodes with hundredths of seconds (i.e. 00:00:07.2400000, so 7 and 24 hundredths of seconds). If we know the video frame-rate (i.e. 24, 23.98), could we derive the specific frame by multiplying the decimal times the frame rate? Or would that not be reliable to convert to HH:MM:SS:FF?

Why also not analyse photos?
lots of the AI can also be used for photos. This will be very usefull in one solution (all you Video and photo media in one engine!)
