Currently, Video Indexer is managed completely outside of the Azure portal via its own site.
This poses a number of enterprise DevOps challenges in being able to automatically provision and setup the service for use for customers.
It would be great to see this rolled into the Azure Portal, just like all the other Cognitive Services currently on offer, with associated automation options (eg. ARM templates) to allow for customers to easily provision the service.1 vote
Incorrect translation in Japanese Portal.
The word "平行移動"(origin "Translate") on the play / edit screen is a mistranslation.
The correct translation in Japanese is "翻訳".1 vote
When a user is invited, username is sometimes changed to "dummy first name dummy last name". It should be the same as a name on AAD.5 votes
When i assign a name to a person and leave 'edit' mode, the next time i click on that person's icon the label goes back to 'unknown #n' - tried a number of different ways but i can't get it to retain the value.1 vote
Every time you scroll or edit the transcript it disables the autoscroll and you have to turn it back on again. This is very annoying when editing long transcripts.1 vote
It would be fantastic to be able to bulk upload and then bulk download selected video clips in the web portal.
I am looking at using Video Indexer as a video library for my entire video library (3tb) and without this functionality it would take forever!

I uploaded my private audio-only media (mp3). The generated transcript is completely different from the original ones.
I understand this service is a preview, but I'd like to improve the quality if there's anything to do on my side.
Is there any guideline to improve the transcript quality?

After posting video via the API, I get the results but I don't see the videos, nor can I plan them through the portal1 vote
You must use the same email address and oAuth provider for the website and API to point at the same account. Per your description it seems like you are using a different combination and hance have 2 separated accounts.

I would like to be able to create a highlight reel from several sources. Say, for example, I'm recording customer interviews on a particular topic. I would like to be able quickly find all the times all the customers mentioned something, and put together a highlight real with all those mentions.1 vote

It's useful to merge multiple face to single face in the portal.4 votes
Create a Widget or Interface ability to select a specific face within a video to blur. Create a new flag to "Blur All Faces" upon Upload of a new Video. Create a flag that can be saved to "Always Blur This Selected Face" for any future video that contains that face.8 votes
